A prep-to-pro, he was picked for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in the 2003 NBA draft. He was voted the NBA player of the year for 2004. Then he was one of the top players of the NBA, winning both the NBA MVP Award both 2009 and 2010. James, who was unable to take home the title at Cleveland in 2010 quit as a free-agent and joined his team the Miami Heat. This was disclosed as part of The Decision.
